Transform Your Day: The Ultimate Plant-Based Morning Routine

You deserve a morning routine that feels like a sacred ritual, using nature to help you start your day. Here’s how I transformed my basic morning routine into something worth waking up to using only herbal plants. This plant based morning routine is affordable, non-toxic, and grounds you so deeply, that you'll wonder why you didn't begin sooner.


Grounding, or reconnecting with nature changes your mood. Yes, it's real. So adding in nature first thing in the morning gives you this access to grounding naturally. This step-by-step herbal morning routine shows you how these rituals set the tone for a grounded, energized day.

As soon as I started opening myself up to have a few herbal plants substituting conventional methods, I immediately noticed a difference in my mental clarity, acne, and constipation (all things that still plague me to this day).


This is for all the women who wake up feeling rushed and are tired of struggling to set the tone for their day. Because time is precious, we all want to spend our time on the things that make us feel good. So why not set that intention?

Wake Up + Dream Journal

I keep a dream journal near my bed to record my dreams. I am a big believer in dreams = our subconscious speaking to us, but if that's not you - have a journal - wake up and check-in.

Anoint + Morning Prayers

Remind yourself of the divine being that you are, and anoint yourself with your favorite oil. Lavender, Eucalyptus, and Ylang Ylang are my go-to smells, very indulgent smells. These should be diluted with a carrier oil before application, of course.

My Suggested Oil Recommendations: lavender, rose, or clary sage to get started.

Hydration with Citrus Water

When you hydrate properly, you feel the difference. You hydrate properly by drinking filtered water first thing in the morning. Argue with ya mama.

I've already spoken about the best THC strains to do with yoga, and the same applies to a good morning routine (if that resonates with you that morning to help). A small batch of lavender, honey & wild lettuce might do the trick.

My recommendations are at the top of this article! You can start small and just use 1-2 items that are plant-based here. But the Ordinary Rosehip Oil is around $13, so these options are not meant to break the bank.

To style my hair I use a lot of oil, butter, and hydration hacks to moisturize my curls. Here is what I use on a daily! I have super curly hair, so be mindful with the oils if your hair isn't that coarse/thick












Empower your Journey by starting your Morning off Right

Your morning routine needs to get you energized for the day, naturally. So put the phone down, grab some herbs, and engage with your mind, body, and spirit simply. You do not have to plant everything, you just have to start bringing that awareness into your routine. Start with a plant-based moisturizer, or turn on a diffuser with essential oil when you wake up, then take bigger steps (if that resonates with you).

Once you get started there, you'll start to notice a shift in how you wake up, the grogginess that seems to last until 10 am, and maybe, want to structure your morning rituals like this!
