Low-Waste Smoothie & Juice Recipes to Naturally Boost Circulation (Vegan & Gluten-Free)

Updated: Mar 14

After my diagnosis, purifying and alkalizing my body was the top goal for me.

Over the years, toxins, free radicals, inflammation, and stress hormones had built up to a point of combustion within my body. That turned into a whole cancer journey that led me to where I am today.

(You can learn more about my cancer journey from my Instagram)

Throughout my chemotherapy treatments, my taste buds could no longer handle anything acidic, even down to the nightshade family (goodbye, tomatoes), so I turned to eating healthy to assist my body. It was the only means of 'control' that I felt like I had, and the last option, as I refused to pump any more medicine into my body if I could help it.

That being said - the following low-waste smoothie and juice recipes to naturally boost circulation are curated specifically to reduce inflammation and anemia, are nutrient-packed, and are super cheap to make. You can substitute any fruits or veggies that you do not like and try your hand at a new recipe. You might even like the taste of beets!

Please note: Organic fruits and vegetables are required when juicing or eating solely these ingredients. Once juiced, everything is highly concentrated - including pesticides on the plants themselves - check your food sources and buy organic!

Putting minerals and nutrients back into your body after they have been depleted is one of the most important things you can do for yourself, especially if you are feeling less than normal.

These smoothie and juice recipes are also important to keep during seasonal changes. Just like nature, our body composition changes right along with the weather, and the foods we eat help push us towards healing, or illness. Let's heal, together.
